PROJECT OVERVIEW
The aim of the Youth-Fit Ireland research project is to develop a web-based solution for recording and monitoring key measures of Health Related Physical Fitness in school settings. Following administration of the Youth-fit test battery, using our leading edge software, teachers can monitor students progress, download detailed individual summary reports and generate whole school reports.
PROCESS
The test battery will be delivered during timetabled Physical Education, lasting approximately 2 hours. Physical Education teachers will be responsible for overseeing the administration of the test battery and uploading results to the web based server. All teachers in participating schools will receive test administration training and software guidance.
